Be familiar with B. United International, if you aren't already. Established in 1994, B. United offers the coolest portfolio of imported beer, cider, sake and mead, from tiny unknown producers to important breweries like Schneider, Hitachino, De Dolle and Baladin. And today, B. United is revolutionizing the very role of the importer. For example, rather than shipping kegs from abroad, most of B. United's draft travels here in tanks while the beer is still maturing, then is freshly kegged at their state-of-the-art facility in Connecticut. They also pioneered the Zymatore Project, in which B. United works with their brewers along with producers of wines and spirits for a unique barrel-aging program in which the importer ages and transforms the beer. There's so much more, and it's all amazing.
