Red Owl Tavern Kick the Keg in Heels Party for Breast Cancer Awareness, October 24

Red Owl Tavern Kick the Keg in Heels Party for Breast Cancer Awareness, October 24

Red Owl Tavern is celebrating one year of serving food and drinks to locals and visitors alike in the ground floor of the Hotel Monaco at Fifth and Chestnut with a party for a good cause. On Thursday, October 24, the restaurant is hosting a Kick the Keg in Heels party that benefits the Rena Rowan Breast Center at the University of Pennsylvania.

From 7–8 PM, you can give a donation at the door ($5 minimum) and enjoy all you care to drink of Free Will Brewing’s Saison de Rose, a special seasonal created for breast cancer awareness and brewed with hibiscus, pink peppercorns, ginger and pink grapefruit. Also on offer will be glasses of Chester County’s Galer Estate Rosé and a cocktail called the Hibiscus Fizz (Absolut Hibiscus, lemon juice, basil syrup, sparkling wine).

After 8 PM, all of the pink drinks are available for just $5 each, and the Saison de Rose will stay at $5 for the duration of the keg (until it’s kicked!). Additionally, $1 from each pour will be donated to the Rena Rowan Breast Center. During the anniversary celebration on Thursday, there will also be a silent auction with items like a Free Will beer basket, dinner for two at Red Owl and an overnight stay at the Hotel Monaco, and all proceeds will be donated to the Center. Never a better reason to come out for a good time.

Event Date: 10/24
