Heads up, bourbon lovers! Bourbon is the spirit of the season and Bainbridge Street Barrel House is hosting a special four-course bourbon dinner on Thursday, November 12. Sample some great bourbons straight and mixed in cocktails, while noshing your way through four courses of delicious dishes. Additionally, the local Buffalo Trace rep will be on hand to guide diners through the meal and discuss the different bourbons featured throughout the evening.

Dinner guests will start the evening with the Duke of Earl cocktail. Buffalo Trace is mixed with muddled cranberries, autumnal simple syrup, earl grey, and orange. This drink is paired with the first course of Bourbon Cured Salmon with pickled pearl onion, marinated cucumbers, capers, and pumpernickel.

Next, guests will enjoy the Prince Weller’s Clock made with W.L. Weller, smoked rosemary, lemon-thyme simple syrup, and grapefruit juice. The second food course available to pair with the drink is Pancetta-Wrapped Monkfish with handkerchief pasta, crab bisque, roasted butternut squash, grilled asparagus, and radish salad.

Moving on, guests will enjoy a third course of 25 Day Aged Sirloin with cauliflower gratin, fermented broccolini, and finished with bourbon caramel jus. This divine creation will be paired with a neat pour of Stagg Jr.

And finally, Nina’s Cherry, a 30 day barrel aged cocktail, will round out the evening. Nina’s Cherry is Buffalo Trace, cherry kijafa, creme de cacao, and creme de menthe mixed and barrel aged. The dessert course for the evening is a Cherry Bomb which is bourbon chocolate cake, cherry semifreddo, mint ganache, white chocolate, and citrus.
