Beer Stores and Bottle Shops Open on Christmas Eve and Christmas Day in Philadelphia

Didn't get a chance to hit up the distributors? Just found out your family was depending on you to get them some cool brews so they don't have to suffer through dinner with just the old man's mass-produced light beer? Well, you're in luck, because some of the city's best beer shops and bottle boutiques have your back.

Bottle Bar East
If you're in the Fishtown area, stop by this bottle shop/bar for all your holiday beer needs from 12 PM to 12 AM on Christmas Eve and from 4 PM on Christmas Day. (1308 Frankford Ave.; 267-909-8867)

The Foodery
More dependable than the United States Postal Service, the standby bottle and six-pack shop will be open until 11 PM on Christmas Eve, but closed on Christmas day. (342 S 10th St.; 215-928-1111)

Monde Market
Stop in and mix a sixer while on your way to visit family. The shop will be open 8 AM to 12 PM on Christmas Eve and 10 AM to 10 PM on Christmas Day. (100 S 21st St.; 215-496-0564)

Food and Friends
Hanging out in Rittenhouse for the holidays? Food and Friends will be open from 9 AM to 10 PM on Christmas Day. (1933 Spruce St.; 215-545-1722)

Richmond Bottle Shop
This bottle shop features over 700 different beers and will be open from 8 AM–6 PM on Christmas Eve but closed on Christmas Day. (2497 Aramingo Ave.; 215-425-5690)

Old Philly Ale House
They will be open  Christmas Eve until 11:45 PM and Christmas Day 12 PM - 6 PM. (565 N 20th St, Philadelphia, PA 19130: 215-563-1665)
