Tria Fitler Square is Hosting a Farewell Party, August 28

On Monday, August 28, Tria Fitler Square will shutter its doors, but not without one last day of wine, snacks, and beers — and this time, proceeds will go to a great cause.

Though there will be a dedicated going-away party from 5 PM - 10 PM, the cafe will be open for its normal hours on its last day. Along with surprise “going-away prices” on their extensive drink list and excellent cheese selection, the restaurant will give 20% of the proceeds to the NAACP and Anti-Defamation League.

Their goal is to raise $2,000, and to help hit that goal, they’ll have representatives from both organizations on site to rack up more donations. ‘Even if we achieve our goal, $2,000 is a drop in the bucket,” says owner Jon Myerow. “But as with good wine, every drop counts. We look forward to hosting our final night at Fitler Square for a good cause – with plenty of wine, cheese and beer, of course.”

Though Philly will still be home to two other Tria cafes as well as well as the Taproom — and its upcoming wine garden — Tria Fitler Square will certainly be missed, so be sure to head over on August 28 for one last glass of wine and cheese plate.
