Drink at the World's Best Cocktail Bars Without Leaving the Airport

Always the leader in ostentatious innovation, Virgin Airlines is teaming up with Bacardi to offer guests the opportunity to sample some of the world’s best cocktails at the best bars, all while seated the airport lounge. It’s doing so through Virtual Reality systems and specially trained bartenders, TR Business reports.
Guests can peruse a menu of famous drinks, then once they’ve selected them, put on a VR helmet that transports them to the drink’s origin bar, where they can watch it being made. As it’s finished, the guest receives the exact beverage, made by the lounge bartender.
The list of bars includes lauded establishments like Smuggler's Cove in San Francisco, Employees Only in New York City, and the Walker Inn in Los Angeles, as well as others. Granted, if you can afford to drink a cocktail in a VR system in the Virgin Lounge, you’ll likely be able to fly to one of these vaunted bars, but this will still save you the trip.
