Philadelphia's first Winter Beer Fest happened mid-November in 2009, and it was a pretty kickin' time.  More than 50 breweries signed on to present the best in spiced ales, barleywines, stouts, imperial ales and other delicious wintry features. Stone Brewing Company, Lancaster, Gritty's, Elysian, and several others made an appearance.

 

We can be sure to see more from the Winter Beer Fest folks in the near future. Best of luck to them! We simply cannot wait.
