6/28: Sly Fox Beer Dinner @ Matyson
Matyson, one of our favorites off of our BYO Listing is going to be hosting a Sly Fox Beer Dinner on 6/28! Tickets will be $75 (does not include tax/gratuity), but looks to be worth every cent.
Sly Fox is teaming up with chef Jesse Kimball of Memphis Taproom and Ben Puchowitz of Matyson's kitchen for what looks like an AMAZING dinner. Five courses will be served, each paired with a glass of beer from Sly Fox.
Suzy, Beer Lass and rep for Sly Fox brought up something in her post that I've had numerous discussions about in the past - the notion of bringing a large format bottle of beer to a BYO in place of wine. The envious looks you'll tend to draw from the other tables are priceless, and you're going to find that a lot of craft beers pair quite nicely - and dare I say more easily - than a fine wine.
In Suzy's words, she states, "Hopefully this night of collaboration will enlighten BYO diners that dismiss beer."
