New Landmark Americana to Open on Saint Joseph's University Campus

New Landmark Americana to Open on Saint Joseph's University Campus

After leaving space next to the new bookstore vacant for well over a year, Saint Joseph’s University has finally decided on a tenant for the spot. Landmark Americana, which already has a location on Drexel’s campus, will be opening its fourth location by the end of the year at St. Joe’s. Located right across the street from Hagan Arena, Hawk fans are sure to be thrilled by this new development and are sure to add it to their pre-game plans next season.

Past rumors suggested that those in charge at SJU wanted any drinking establishment to close by midnight. No official word yet on whether Landmark has agreed to such ridiculous demands or if the university has changed its tune but every other Landmark location stays open until 2 am which is a good sign. Regardless, most people at the University should be excited to have a new bar that isn’t the... uh… "charming" Bala Inn.

The local mini-chain’s other locations also serve over 20 craft beers - so maybe that’ll get some of the students to try out Dogfish Head or Oskar Blues instead of the usual Natty Light.

I can dream, right?
