Respite from the heat can be easily found on 17th Street just north of Sansom, where the high-ceilinged second floor of an old beaux arts building is dedicated to the bar, comfortable lounge and main dining room of Davio’s.

The Rittenhouse steakhouse has a solid drinks program, participating in Center City Sips and even offering specials like boozy ice pops, and for the summer the bartenders there have introduced a series of summer cocktails. We selected the Raspberry Mojito as our Drink of the Week, because it looks so refreshing and summery, we know it will do you well. Raspberry Mojito

5 mint leaves
4 raspberries
Bar spoon of sugar
Splash of lime juice
Club soda
2 oz. Don Q rum

Muddle first four ingredients in a Collins glass. Add ice. Then add 2 oz. Don Q rum. Add splash of club soda on top and garnish with lime and a raspberry on a pick.
