Pop-Up Beer Garden at The Porch at 30th Street Station, July 12-14
Philadelphia’s newest public space is going through a required hazing ritual this weekend, and brew-lovers get to take advantage. From July 12–14, The Porch at 30th Street Station will host its first beer garden, complete with both traditional German and classic Philly food and drink. Thanks to Bridgewater’s Pub (which is located inside the train station), German and local crafts will pour, accompanied by bratwurst with sauerkraut and Italian sausage sandwiches.
Live music will play during the pay-as-you-go festivities, which run 4–8 PM, Thursday, noon–8 PM, Friday and noon– 5 PM, Saturday. A mini-golf course is also currently set up at the plaza, so you can enjoy the summertime dream of putting away, beer in hand, while gazing out at the Philadelphia skyline.
