Drink Goose Island Beer for Research at Revolution House, July 27
Goose Island has been around for a long time, as craft breweries go, and the Chicago-based company puts out a stable of great beers. On Friday, July 27, you can sip on three of their finest — likely 312 Urban Wheat, IPA and Nut Brown Ale — while supporting a great cause at the same time.
Revolution House is hosting a “Drink for Research” party to benefit the Juvenile Diabetes Research Fund. For $12, you score a keepsake glass, which you can fill with unlimited pours of these drafts from 7–9 PM. Each purchase will send $2 directly to diabetes research.
The Old City bar will also be selling discounted bottles of Goose Island Summertime Ale in support of the cause all weekend long.
Side note: we just discovered there's a new 11 PM–1 AM, Monday–Wednesday late night happy hour. A reason to go to Market Street after hours? We'll take it.
