Producing craft beers since 1994, Magic Hat Brewing in Burlington, VT is best known for its signature #9, an apricot-tinged "not quite pale ale" with 5.1% ABV.  What's the significance of the number nine? According to the brewery website, "#9 is far better than numbers 1 through 8." Can't argue with that logic! On Wednesday, October 10, four of Magic Hat's craft beers will be served at Cavanaugh's Rittenhouse's October installment of the monthly Brew & Chew event.

With your RSVP in advance, just $20 at the door will bring you two hours of these four brews, paired with four different appetizers. On draft you'll enjoy pours of "Ourtoberfest" German ale Hex and heavily hopped Hi.P.A, while in bottles you can sip on mysterious fruit beer #9 and the smoked Burn Pile.
