From DCBeer: Lagunitas put out questionnaires and asked their on-premise retailers what style of beer they would like to pour at their bar. Two names were drawn from that pot. The winners were Josh Fernands of Pizzeria Paradiso Georgetown and Brandon Irby from Lost Dog Cafe in Merrifield. They all met with Jeremy Marshall, Lagunitas' head brewer, and created a dark strong American ale. Fusion 11 includes some dark roasted barley, rye, and a small percentage of wheat. Some new experimental hops were also used to make this elixir.
