Have This IPA Instead of Roast Beef: Blind Pig at Tria

by Drink Philly on Jul 29, 2013 in Event Listing for Tria Washington Square West

In 1994, Vinnie Cilurzo started brewing at the Blind Pig Brewing Company in Temecula, CA. Vinnie is credited with inventing the Double IPA there, but this diminutive, low-budget brewery was also lauded for its sublime "regular" IPA. Today, Vinnie still brews Blind Pig at his legendary Russian River Brewing Company in Santa Rosa, California. It's everything that an IPA should be--hoppy, citrusy, piney and perfect. To celebrate National IPA Day this Thursday, pints of this rare and generally costly brew are just $4 at Tria Wash West 'til the keg runs dry. The pursuit of hoppiness, indeed.
