It's Last Call at South Street's PHS Pop-Up Beer Garden

Leaves turning, temperatures dipping and days growing shorter means the end is near for the Pennsylvania Horticultural Society’s Pop Up Garden on South Street.

But before you get all bummed out about having to drink indoors for the next six or eight months, take comfort in knowing that the popular urban oasis isn’t going away without first throwing one last hurrah.

To thank the many supporters, sponsors and partners that made the garden such a success this past summer, the PHS Pop Up will wind down the season with a huge closing party on Sunday, October 19, beginning at 3 PM.

In the days leading up to that big bash, the gorgeous green space will continue serving up tropical cocktails, cool craft beers and delicious bites from some of the city’s most popular mobile food vendors.

And if you’re still in need of a place to grab drinks in the great outdoors after Sunday’s closing ceremonies, keep in mind that Independence Beer Garden will remain open daily through November 1.
