Dock Street Brewery to Release "Friends Don't Let Friends Vote Drumpf" Beer Series

by Drink Philly on Mar 23, 2016 in Culture for Dock Street Brewing Company

He’s all over the news, he’s all over the internet, and soon he’ll be in your beer glass. That’s right, thanks to the brewers over at Dock Street Brewery, Donald Drumpf will soon be (dis)honored with his own series of beers.

Pubs have long been a gathering place where folks can freely exchange ideas and political beliefs over beers. The “Friends Don’t Let Friends Vote Drumpf” series of brews is meant to encourage healthy discussion between friends and neighbors while declaring disdain for a certain Drumpf.

The first beer in the series will be the Short-Fingered Stout. In a recent blog post announcing the series, Dock Street described the beer as “a bitter and delusional stout with an airy, light-colored head atop a so-so body.” The beer isn’t a hard hitter, coming in at only 4.5% ABV.

The beer will be released at the West Philly brewpub soon, so stay tuned for a release date.
