New Brewpub Coming Soon to Old Elevator Factory in Fishtown

by Drink Philly on Mar 23, 2016 in Bars & Restaurants

With breweries and brewpubs popping up all over the city (we’re looking at your Bar Hygge and Brewery ARS), it’s not surprising that there will soon be some fermentation going on in Fishtown. A new brewpub is planned for the corner of Frankford Avenue and Wildey Street, right across the street from Barcade.

The building at 1101 Frankford Ave. was previously a hosiery mill and an elevator factory, but currently sits unoccupied. It's reported that Jack Lyons, formerly of 20 Horse Tavern in Camden, is in the process of acquiring the space. In addition to beer brewed on site, the pub will boast a full kitchen, a pizza oven, and a full bar with liquor, wine, and outside beer as well.

If you’re out at a show at The Fillmore or having a pint at Barcade, keep an eye on this corner for further developments.
