Flying Fish is Opening Up Shop in Brewerytown

Brewerytown is beginning to live up to its name once again, and Flying Fish is joining the ranks this fall. Opening at 31st and Master, the Flying Fish Crafthouse will be a 191-seat restaurant with two bars serving up burgers, brews, and exclusive small-batch beers you won’t be able to find anywhere else.

Chef Brian Duffy of Bar Rescue fame will be at the helm with a menu created to pair perfectly with Flying Fish’s beer list. The seats will be spread out between outdoor brasserie seating as well an an indoor beer garden, all made out of reclaimed materials to give the space some environmentally conscious flair. Additionally, the brewpub will offer take-out and delivery, as well as service to the units above within the new Fairmount at Brewerytown apartment complex.

Flying Fish is the largest craft brewery in the entire state of New Jersey, and their new outpost will no doubt do great things for the already expanding Brewerytown. Crime & Punishment Brewing Company opened up shop last July, making it the first brewery in the historic neighborhood in about twenty years. At one point, the neighborhood was home to over twenty breweries, but that number began to dwindle and eventually disappear following Prohibition and the subsequent industry slump.

Flying Fish Crafthouse will be located within the Fairmount at Brewerytown at 1399-1301 N 31st St.
