Rosy's Taco Bar Now Open in Rittenhouse With Two Margarita Bars & Daily Specials

Rosy's Taco Bar, the newest concept from FCM Hospitality (the team behind Harper's Garden, Concourse, and Morgan's Pier), is now open at 2220 Walnut Street, just underneath the Roosevelt Apartments.

Named after James "Rosy" Roosevelt, the older half-brother of President Franklin Delano Roosevelt who was reportedly quite a lush, this charitable bar will give a portion of its proceeds to the National Immigrant Justice Center. Head chef Rodrigo Bolanos, an alum of Amada, El Vez, Mission Taqueria, and Distrito, among others, will be serving up traditional tacos like al pastor alongside new twists like Korean barbeque tacos, all of which will be made with fresh ingredients and served atop Lost Bread Co. tortillas. Rosy's will also offer a hot sauce bar, stocked with favorites like Cholula and Tabasco as well as a rotating list of rare, hard-to-find hot sauces.

As for the bar program, Rosy's will be home to two bars, both of which will serve classic margaritas, draft beers (with both Mexican and domestic options), cocktails and sangria on draft (which are then shaken to order with fresh fruit juices), and a tequila list divided into three separate tiers. Guests will also be able to branch out with original cocktails like Rosy's Tequila Sunrise, made with fresh orange juice,  lime juice, housemade pomegranate grenadine, and tequila.

The taco bar will also start serving brunch and happy hour. Their Borracho Brunch, which, appropriately, means "drunk" in Spanish, includes three drinks, an entree, and churros for just $30 per person and will be served on Saturdays and Sundays from 11 AM - 3 PM. Happy hour Monday through Friday from 4 PM - 6 PM will offer deals like $6 for three tacos and $20 pitchers of house margaritas or sangria, and a late night food menu from 10 PM - 12 AM every night.

Rosy's hours are Monday through Thursday from 4 PM - 2 AM, Friday through Sunday from 11 AM - 2 AM
