Amada and Chifa Launch New Happy Hour Specials

Jose Garces fans take note, this summer it got easier to enjoy the Iron Chef’s food and drink. Both Amada and Chifa have new happy hour specials.

At the Old City Spanish tapas house — Garces’ first restaurant — the fun happens 5–7 PM, Wednesday–Friday. Pull up a seat at the bar at Amada to enjoy $5 sangria, $6 wine, $8 cocktails and special tapas plates for $2.5–$4.5.

Chifa, the Washington Square Peruvian-Chinese, the deals run every weekday from 5–7 PM, and include $3 beer, $5 wine, $6 cocktails and $3 dim sum bites like pork belly buns and duck tacos. Even as Garces expands his empire, it’s nice to know he’s looking out for his loyal Philly peeps. We’ll drink to that.
