Pappy Van Winkle Spotted at Shelly's Back Room

Authorities in Franklin County, Kentucky have still yet to charge a suspect for stealing $26,000 worth of Pappy Van Winkle from the Buffalo Trace Distillery back in October, but that doesn’t mean the case has gone cold.

NBC News reports this week that the sheriff's office there have new leads on the whereabouts of the highly coveted whiskey, and those responsible for it going missing thanks to a $10,000 reward that’s been posted. Surely this won’t be the last we hear about this. 

Closer to DC, the world’s finest bourbon has been spotted near the vicinity of National Mall. According to Eater DC, Shelly’s Back Room just received shipment — through legit means — of eight bottles, a mix of 10-, 12-and 15-, 20- and 23-year varieties of Pappy. Get it while you can.
