Flying Dog Kujo Draft Release at ChurchKey
Once an experimental brew, Kujo is the newly branded coffee stout from Frederick-based Flying Dog Brewing Co. Made with locally-roasted coffee from Black Dog Coffee out of Summit Point, WV, the 8.9% ABV label will now be part of the regular seasonal lineup. This year's release is available in D.C.-area establishments now.
The D.C. draft launch party goes down Wednesday, December 21, at beer mecca ChurchKey. DC Beer reports the stout will be served no less than seven different ways:
1. On regular draft
2. On draft with nitro
3. In cask
4. In cask on medium-toast rum soaked oak
5. In cask on star anise
6. In cask on vanilla beans
7. In cask on elderberries
Head over on Wednesday night (the bar opens at 4PM) to check it out; this dog won't stick around for long!
