3 Stars Brewing Company Launch Parties at ChurchKey & The Big Hunt, Aug 9 & 10

Just after Chocolate City and DC Brau celebrated one-year anniversaries, the District can officially welcome another within-city-limits craft brewery. Thursday, August 9 is the official launch of Dave Coleman & Mike McGarvey’s 3 Stars Brewing Co., which we first took a look at back in January.

ChurchKey will play host to the premiere party, which features Urban Farmhouse (a Belgian-style saison), Southern Belle (an Imperial brown Ale), and Pandemic Porter (an American Imperial Porter) on draft, starting at 6 PM. Also available will be a few special casks of each style, the details of which are being kept quiet until the event itself.

The next evening, Friday, August 10, all three brews will find their way on to the taps of The Big Hunt, along with at least one of them in cask. The fun starts at 5 PM, and is the perfect pregame to D.C. Beer Week
