You don’t have to be a champagne connoisseur to attend this unique tasting seminar hosted by Kimpton Hotel’s own master sommelier, Emily Wines. If you have an appreciation for bubbles, head to the Mist Pavilion in Stratus Lounge for the Champagne 101 Social, an intimate, classroom style event, on Thursday, March 24.
 

Guests will be educated and satiated as Emily Wines leads the group through six champagne selections paired with passed small plates. The event will feature different classifications of champagnes paired with dishes prepared by Executive Chef, Jorge Chicas. Tickets for this exclusive event are $175 each and are available here.
 

After the seminar, guests can enjoy a reception in Stratus featuring more champagne and food stations. If you would rather skip the class and just join the reception, tickets are available for $50 each. These tickets include two glasses of champagne and access to the raw bar, sushi station, and Mediterranean and cheese station. Tickets to the reception will also be limited to provide a more intimate experience. A portion of all the evening’s tickets will benefit Big Brothers Big Sisters Independence Region.
