Easter Dining & Events in Philadelphia
The tulips are blooming, birds are chirping and bunnies are hopping — it’s time for Easter. A series of eating and drinking events are taking place around town throughout the weekend, with boozy fun as well as entertainment for the little ones. Check out our rundown and enjoy your holiday!
Bistro St. Tropez: A three course French-inspired Easter brunch at Bistro St. Tropez will be served from 10:30 AM–4 PM for $30. Dishes include roasted eggplant and tomato soup, banana pain perdue and lobster mollets florentine. All guests will have the chance to win dinner for two, brunch for four, bottles of wine and more goodies for their Easter baskets
Bistrot la Minette: Peter Woolsey’s Queen Village bistro is offering a special $45 prix fixe menu on Easter Sunday, April 8, all day
Blackfish: Enjoy three courses of Chef Roman’s food for $45 per person, with seatings available from 11 AM–7 PM. Dishes will include charred asparagus with Maryland crab, truffle vinaigrette and ‘crispy’ mustard; roasted Pennsylvania brook trout with English peas, country ham and Madras curry; and yuzu parfait with gooseberry, kiwi and raspberry bouillon.
Chima Brazilian Steakhouse: Chima is offering an Easter lunch and dinner on Sunday, April 8 and will have a complimentary kids face painter from 2-6 PM. The lunch, hosted from noon–3 PM, will be $39.50 per person for the rodizio, $23.50 for the salad bar and only $19.75 for children. They will also be giving away small goodies for children.
Davio’s: On Sunday, April 8, from 1–8 PM, guests will enjoy items such as the braised lamb shank with white bean ragu and double cut veal chop with mushroom stuffing and spring vegetables in a Barolo sauce, for $55 per person. There will also be a children’s menu and an Easter egg hunt.
Del Frisco’s: Indulge in a 12 oz. prime rib for $35 or a 16 oz. prime rib for $45. The dinner menu will also be available.
Ela: Guests will enjoy a special menu of Chef Jason Cichonski’s contemporary American fare. Seatings are available from 9:30 AM–3:30 PM, and the menu will be served á la carte. Dishes will include coddled eggs with peas pancetta and celery root on brioche; biscuits with sausage and bone marrow gravy; and a selection of omelets. An assortment of Bloody Marys will also be offered including a kimchi Bloody Mary and a truffle Bloody Mary. Dishes will range in price from $12–$25.
Granite Hill: The Stephen Starr restaurant in the Philadelphia Museum of Art will host Easter Brunch on Sunday, April 8, 10:30 AM-2:30 PM for $45 per person. Classic Easter favorites, Granite Hill signature dishes and tantalizing sweets will be presented in a seasonal brunch buffet, complete with a complimentary glass of sparkling wine.
Le Virtu: Set to the background of DisCanto’s music, Chef Cicala will prepare a special menu featuring holiday favorites such as torta rustica, a savory egg pie with spinach and artichoke; calamari ripieni, stuffed and braised calamari with a fava bean puree; and agnello arrosta, a roasted Lancaster County lamb leg served with rosemary potatoes and ramp pesto.
Mica: Guests will enjoy three courses for $45 per person, with seatings available from 10 AM–7 PM. Dishes will include day boat scallop with charred romaine, horseradish, ruby beet and sorrel; Erdenheim Farm lamb, from a local Chestnut Hill farm, with sunchoke, baby carrot and amaranth.
R2L: R2L will be offering a three-course brunch menu for $45 (no additional price for the unbeatable view). There will be a choice of entree, appetizer and dessert.
