Philly Startup Leaders is a network of over 1,700 entrepreneurial Philadelphians who meet regularly and use each other to find resources, investors, inspiration and extra energy to innovate and get business done. This week is the group’s first annual conference, dubbed Founder Factory, which includes a day of speakers and finishes with a networking happy hour at World Cafe Live in University City.

Anyone can buy a ticket (here) to either the full day of sessions — which begins at 9 AM and includes topics like “Getting the Word Out” and “Teambuilding” — for $60 ($35 for startups and students), or just the post-conference happy hour for $25. The happy hour runs from 5:45–7 PM, and while it’s guaranteed to be fun, it should also be a great place to meet new and interesting people.

After all, Philly Startup Leaders began when a small group of isolated entrepreneurs started getting together regularly for happy hour. That grew into monthly happy hours, and eventually into all the programs PSL now runs, which include monthly New Member Coffees, quarterly happy hours, PSL University and an annual BBQ.
