You love beer, but have you ever had a beergasm? (Yes, the organizers of this charity event went there.) Get ready to experience beer love at a celebration of the local beer scene. The first-ever Philly Beergasm takes place thursday, March 28, at the tasting room at Yards Brewing Company on Delaware Avenue, and we have tickets to give away.

Organizers Collaborate Philly and Beer Cakes Philly have corralled Forest and Main and soon-to-launch 5 O’Clock Brew to pour tastes of local brew, in addition to a roster of Philadelphia homebrewers who will offer the fruits of their labor. Art in the Age’s fortified wine Spodee will also be served, in cocktails that mix the liquor with beer and other ingredients.

To eat, look for Beer Cakes Philly’s brew-infused treats, as well as a custom menu from chef Dan Berlin of Bongo Zeptobrewery. Most dishes on the bill of fare will be made with beer from the breweries in attendance, contributing to your chances of multiple beergasms.
