Grey Lodge Celebrates Its 29th 'Friday the Firkinteenth'

For the 29th time in more than 16 years, this Friday Northeast Philly's legendary Grey Lodge Pub will celebrate a Friday that falls on the 13th of the month with a smorgasbord of cask-conditioned ales.

Wrenching the bedeviled date from the likes of black cats, publican Mike "Scoats" Scotese makes the day into a beer geek’s dream with Friday the Firkinteenth.

This will be the 29th Friday the Firkinteenth. Chris Dominski had some great ideas on how to shake things up a little. One of them was free "I kicked the firkin" T-shirts for anyone who buys the last pour out of a firkin.

For this Firkinteenth, Scoats and compnay are switching the program up a little. This time thay will split the casks into two sessions, a day session, beginning at noon, and an evening session beginning at 6 PM. Check the full list of firkins lined up for Friday's fest below:
