2013 Great American Beer Bar Winners Named
With the American craft beer revolution taking over the country, what are the best craft beer bars in the U.S.? Craftbeer.com, the drinker-focused arm of the Brewers Association (producers of GABF), asked readers to vote on the top pubs, taverns, taprooms and bistros across the nation, and the results have just been released.
The first-place vote getter is Mekong Restaurant in Richmond, VA, the same bar that topped the list last year. Grand Rapids, MI’s HopCat took second place (it was third last year), and newcomer Cloverleaf Tavern in Caldwell, NJ snagged the bronze spot.
Regional winners were also tallied in five different areas of the country, and the results were as follows:
