Like kids who refuse to grow up, Major League Bocce refuses to let summer end. The group of beer-loving ball players teamed up with their favorite brewery, Dogfish Head, to throw an epic tournament and party on the beach in Delaware at the Cape May-Lewes Ferry in Lewes on Saturday, September 28. This is BocceFest 2013.

From 11 AM-8 PM, 48 teams from all over the region will face off in a double-elimination tournament for the chance to win up to $1,500 in cash prizes. There will be beer on special, there will be live music, there will be bocce and there will be fun.

To participate, gather a team of four players and designate a captain, who will pay and register here. Team spaces are $200, but Drink Philly readers can get in for half price. Yup, you can save $100 when you use our special discount code BEACHBALL. After the captain creates the team, other players need to sign up to play, but they won’t be charged.
