Greater Northeast OctoBEERfest, October 5

If you love Oktoberfest beers and pumpkin ales, you’ll want to snag tickets to the Greater Northeast OctoBEERfest (see what they did there?). The festival at the Canstatter’s Volkfest Verein in the Northeast is back and better than ever.
Over 60 brews will be pouring from 1–5 PM on Saturday, October 5, and you can get in for an all-you-can-sample afternoon for just $30 per person ($40 at the door; here). Along with entry you’ll get a commemorative tasting glass and the chance to vote on your favorites.
In addition to all the beer pouring, vendors will sell food, t-shirts and whiskey making equipment, as well as hand-rolled cigars. Live music will play, and the Craft Beer Outlet will have beer for sale if you find something you absolutely must take home. It’s festival season, time to enjoy it!
