Top Chef Alum Jason Cichonski Pairs Thanksgiving Leftovers With Bourbon, Wed., Dec. 4
Though his re-imagining of gumbo by way of Poland didn’t get him very far with Top Chef judges, this week Jason Cichonski will take on Thanksgiving leftovers for his latest culinary escapade.
On Wednesday, December 4, at 7 PM, Cichonski will serve a four-course, prix fixe menu at his restaurant Ela that’s inspired by the foods and leftovers from Turkey Day. Even better than your mom’s apple pie, each of the meal's plates will be paired with bourbon!
The special menu offers dishes like crispy skin stuffing rolls with gravy; Miso-glazed turkey with sweet potato, burnt marshmallows, and “green bean casserole” paired with cocktails like Summerisle, Jim Beam Honey, ginger, lemon, Scotch; and Noro, Jim Beam, Amaro Averna, Aperol.
The dinner costs $55 per person, including the bourbon cocktail pairings. Seating is limited, and reservations are required. Call (267) 687-8512 to book a seat.
