Pappy Van Winkle and Other Rare Whiskies Now at Bainbridge Street Barrel House
If, like us, you were left — literally — standing out in the cold when the thirsty masses polished off Percy Street Barbecue’s precious allotment of Pappy Van Winkle in a record 15 minutes, you won’t have to wait another year to sample the highly coveted bourbon.
Just around the corner from Percy Street, the good folks at Bainbridge Street Barrel House, have rolled their own stock of the stuff that they scored when that small lot earmarked for sale in Pennsylvania became available a few weeks ago.
BSBH’s bar currently has the following Van Winkles in stock:
Pappy Van Winkle 15 year
Pappy Van Winkle 20 year
Pappy Van Winkle 23 year
Other notable whiskies in the Barrel House’s inventory include:
George T. Stagg 2010 Barrel Proof
George T. Stagg 2011 Barrel Proof
Elijah Craig 21 Year Single Barrel
A.H. Hirsch 16 Year, one of the precious few remaining bottles of the very last batch of old sour mash bourbon to roll off the production line at the historic Michter’s Distillery in Newmanstown, PA in 1974.
