The Winter Olympic Games in Sochi kick off with the opening ceremonies on Friday, February 7, at 7:30 PM. But these aren’t the only games to commence that evening. The Sto Games will also get underway, offering friendly competition in several events. 

Sto’s Bar in Old City is hosting a tournament-style competition of video games, beer pong, and shuffleboard, and athletes of all disciplines are invited to join in the fun on February 7 and 8. Video games for the event include Mario Kart, Super Smash Bros, and Golden Eye. So get your thumbs conditioned and your pong face ready. A $10 buy-in allows you to compete in any game or games of your choice, with cash prizes for 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place. Spectators are always welcome and can enjoy the $8 pilsner pitchers and $10 Walt Wit pitchers all night, every night. If you just want to catch the Olympics, the games will be on and the beer will be flowing. So come show off your crazy gaming skills or just cheer on the athletes at Sto’s Bar at 3rd and Market.
