Inaugural Headhouse Irish Festival Takes Over 2nd Street And Headhouse Shambles, March 16
The St. Patrick’s Day Parade isn’t the only Irish shindig this year thanks to O’neals and Cavanaugh’s Headhouse, who will be hosting the inaugural Headhouse Irish Festival. On Sunday, March 16, 2nd Street and the Headhouse Shambles will be transformed into an Irish oasis full of music, food, drinks, and more.
The festival starts at 11 AM with DJs getting things going. Performers and bands from the St. Patrick’s Day Parade will make their way to the stages after their march through the city. Performers include Irish Step Dancers, Fife and Drum Corps, and plenty of Irish music to get your shillelagh shaking.
And what would an Irish festival be without beer? You’ll be able to grab pints of Guinness, Smithwicks, Harp, Magners Irish Cider, Yuengling, and Coors Lite, but those won’t be the only sips flowing. Keeping with the Irish theme, you’ll also be able to get 2 Gingers Irish Whiskey, Jameson, and Fireball shots.
2nd Street will be closed between Locust and Pine, leaving plenty of room for dancing and partying. This is also an all ages event, so bring the whole family! Cheers, and may your glass never be empty.
