Charged Up: Bierstube Becomes First Bar in the City with Outlets at Every Seat
You’re out at a bar, your phone is about to die, and your friends have seemingly disappeared. It’s happened to the best of us. But one Old City bar is about to make sure that never happens again.
Bierstube, located at 2nd and Market, is now the first bar in the city to feature an outlet at every seat at the bar. And these outlets aren’t any old outlet either. Each outlet features one electrical outlet and two USB chargers. Now your gadgets can fill up while you drink up. Even if you forget your cord, 3-in-1 charging cables are available for sale behind the bar for only $3.69 a pop.
We also told you a couple weeks ago that bars are starting to see telecommuters set up shop and do their work with a brew or two in hand. Bierstube now has all the makings of the perfect “remote office”. With free WiFi, an abundance of outlets, and an expansive beer selection, you can’t really go wrong. Bierstube wants you to work remotely from their bar. They even have plans of adding outlets to the booths and tables and are planning to have a printer for guests to use. This really could become your new office space. So if you’ve overstayed your welcome at the coffee shop around the corner, why not head over to Bierstube.
Bierstube is currently open Mon-Wed: 5 PM-2 AM and Thu-Sun: 11 AM-2 AM, but plans are in the works to open for lunch seven days a week. Stay tuned for more information.
