The daiquiri has long been misunderstood, but this happy hour party aims to change that. No longer will it be seen as a fruity drink reserved only for spring break, but instead a refreshing summer sip perfect for warm days and nights.

10 Arts, the lounge at The Ritz-Carlton, is celebrating the daiquiri by shaking up five unique daiquiris from The Ritz-Carlton destinations around the world. The Philadaiquiri, Philadelphia’s own signature daiquiri, will make its debut at the happy hour along with daiquiris from Naples and Key Biscayne to name a few. The Philadaiquiri will remain on the menu all summer long at 10 Arts, but you’ll have to travel pretty far to get a sip of the other daiquiris again.

The party takes place Thursday, July 10, from 5 to 7 PM. All daiquiris are $10 and are made with Caliche Rum, a six-generation-old rum from the Serrallés Family Distillery in Puerto Rico. No reservations are required. Cheers to the summer!
