Where to Celebrate Christmas in July in Philadelphia

Where to Celebrate Christmas in July in Philadelphia

If you thought Christmas in July was just some cheesy gimmick employed by used car salesmen and discount appliance stores, you are wrong. The custom has transcended the drink and food world, bringing out so much joyful merriment, it’s kind of, almost like the most wonderful time of the year, except that the temperatures are 50 to 60 degrees warmer. Straight ahead, check out some of the sweet, drinkable gifts that are coming to all of Philadelphia’s good boys and girls.

Revolution House (200 Market St.; 215-625-4566)

The Martians Kidnapped Santa! (Egg Nog Stout) while screening Christmas movies up on their second floor. Admission is $15, or $14 with the donation of one canned food item, which will be turned over to Philabundance.

On Friday, July 25, the Field House will tap some special Christmas kegs they’ve been hoarding, including Troegs Mad Elf, Bell's Christmas and Great Lakes Christmas.

Red Owl Tavern (433 Chestnut St.; 215-923-2267)
