Pair America’s pastime with the best BBQ and craft beer in the city and you get the annual BBQ at the Ballpark event. Nothing goes better with the long, hot days of August than a cool brew and some BBQ. Throw in a little baseball and you have a summer trifecta.

This isn’t your average tailgate. You won’t find any frozen patties or flavorless beer here. What you will find is an all-you-can-eat BBQ buffet with delicious meats and sides by Sweet Lucy’s Smokehouse. You can also count on plenty of fresh brews from some of your local favorites such including Conshohocken Brewing, Neshaminy Creek, Philadelphia, Sly Fox, and Weyerbacher.

This feast of epic proportions takes place Saturday, August 23, from 2–7 PM. Things will be set up in the Jetro Lot on Darien Street, not Pattison. Tickets for the event are on sale here, and 100% of the proceeds will go directly to the Marianne E Mebert Memorial Fund which is dedicated to raising money to fund research into curing Triple Negative Breast Cancer. Tickets to the event don’t include admission to the Phillies vs. Cardinals game, but there are still tickets available. Ticket prices increase at the door, so what are you waiting for?
