Drink Your Way Through the Mid-Atlantic States at Spruce Street Harbor Park's Fall Fest, Sept. 19 - 21
Spruce Street Harbor Park, the gorgeous oasis that popped up along the Delaware riverfront like an urban mirage this summer, is counting down the last days of inaugural season. It goes dark on September 28.
But rather than go out on a whimper, its wrapping up with a great big blowout, Fall Fest, which runs Friday, September 19 through Sunday, September 21. And Philly Beer Week is joining the party, curating a impressive selection of fall-themed craft beers from breweries located throughout the Mid-Atlantic region.
Friday’s lineup will focus on brews from New Jersey and Delaware, including Dogfish Head Punkin Ale and 60 Min IPA, Twin Lakes Pale Ale, Flying Fish Hopfish and Oktoberfish, Dominion Oktoberfest and Double D IPA, and River Horse American Amber and Tripel Horse.
Saturday’s draft list will feature beers from Pennsylvania, including Barren Hill Oatmeal Stout and Good & Plenty, Old Forge Falling Down Brown and Kolsch, Neshaminy Dunkelweizen and Trauger Pilsner, Saucony Creek Stonefly IPA and Maple Mistress, and Weyerbacher Last Chance IPA and Verboten Belgian.
On Sunday the taps will pour suds from Maryland, including Heavy Seas Loose Cannon, Evolution Lucky 7 Porter, Duclaw 31 Pumpkin and Sweet Baby Jesus and Stillwater Cellar Door.
In addition to fall beers from the surrounding region, Fall Fest will have kids activities, a variety of live music and autumn-inspired food from several food trucks and the Jose Garces floating pop-up, Blue Anchor.
