Tashan Celebrates Diwali with a Bollywood Style Dance Party, Fri., Oct. 17

In case you need a reason to whoop it up with drinks, food and dancing this week, Tashan, the gorgeous modern Indian restaurant and lounge on South Broad Street, is throwing what may be Philly’s first ever Bollywood inspired celebration of Diwali.

Each autumn, millions across the globe observe the ancient Hindu "festival of lights" that signifies the victory of light over darkness, knowledge over ignorance, good over evil, and hope over despair. Tashan’s celebration on Friday, October 17 will feature a spectacular dinner buffet (menu below), drinks, and dancing to Bollywood and popular contemporary club hits courtesy of DJ VK on the turntables. The hosts request that revelers dress to impress in vibrant Diwali colors.
