For many of us here in the City of Brotherly Boozing and Sisterly Sipping buck-a-shuck deals are the greatest thing since Martha Washington began hosting happy hours at her home on High Street.

Now Top Chef alum Jason Cichonski is going one better at his Old City haunt, The Gaslight.

This week he introduced Shot-and-Shuck, a shucked-to-order Belon oyster served with cinnamon mignonette alongside a shot of spiked cider for $5.

While the shuck-and-shot combo will be available all night, every night, Cichonski tells us he expects to switch up the oysters, accompaniments and shots each week. Keep an eye on the Gaslight's Twitter feed for more details about each week's offerings.
