Han Dynasty Hosts Wu-Tang Clan-Inspired Beer Pairing Dinner, Wed., Nov. 12
Sure, you could crack a forty and pour it out in front of the McDonalds at 29th and Gray’s Ferry as a fitting tribute to Ol’ Dirty Bastard. As recounted in the new book The Dirty Version, that drive-thru serves as something of a last stand for the Wu-Tang rapper’s famous month-long flight from justice in 2000. But with the city’s open container laws, you could easily find yourself facing your own legal troubles.
For something a little less criminal, consider Han Dynasty’s Enter the Wu-Tang: 36 Flavas, a 20-course tasting and beer pairing coming up on Wednesday, November 12 that’s inspired by the works of the entire 10-member hip hop juggernaut the Wu-Tang Clan.
