Bierstube Offers Red White and Blue Special for Colbert Report's Final Episode, Dec. 18

Bierstube Offers Red White and Blue Special for Colbert Report's Final Episode, Dec. 18

After ten seasons, seven Emmy nominations and countless laughs, The Colbert Report is down to its final episodes. The last episode of the late-night satirical series is set to air on Thursday, December 18, at its usual timeslot on Comedy Central. If you happen to be one of the many folks who have cut the cord on the cable company but want to watch the last show live, head over to Bierstube for a full viewing experience.

In honor of The Colbert Report’s final show, Bierstube is serving up the Red White and Blue Special. For the patriotic price of $17.76 you’ll get a spicy stars and stripes sandwich, soup and suds. The sandwich is a spicy red currywurst (available in pork or vegetarian), paired with a bowl of creamy cauliflower soup topped with bacon and blue cheese. Red, white, and blue!

In addition to this tasty platter, you’ll also receive a liter (33 whole ounces!) of Victory’s Prima Pils. As an added bonus, be one of the first 12 guests to order the special and get your beer in a Bierstube plastic liter mug, which is your to keep.

The bar will be showing the Daily Show prior to The Colbert Report, and the sound will of course be on for both programs. If you’re usually sound asleep by the time these shows come on but you still want to taste those spicy stars and stripes, you’re in luck. The $17.76 special will be running through Sunday, December 21.
