It's a Battle of the Beverages at 'He Said PA Beer, She Said PA Wine,' March 24
It’s easy to see that Philly is a beer town with plenty of amazing brews around every turn. But that doesn’t mean one can’t get a good glass of vino around these parts. The second annual Philly Wine Week is underway, and the case for Pennsylvania wine is strong.
He Said PA Beer, She Said PA Wine is no ordinary pairing dinner. Beers from local breweries will face off against Pennsylvania wines, and guests get to be the judge and decide which beverage pairs best with food - beer or wine?
Marnie Old, renown wine author and sommelier, and Bill Covaleski, co-owner of Victory Brewing Company, will plead their case for their respective beverages at a unique, three-course dinner at World Cafe Live on Tuesday, March 24.
Tickets are $55 per person and include beers from breweries like Victory, Troegs and Weyerbacher and wines from Galen Glen, Penns Woods and Vynecrest. The menu for the evening includes a seafood appetizer, a juicy burger and a chocolatey dessert. For tickets and more information, click here.
