A.Bar Debuts New Late Night Happy Hour
The summer may be winding down, but Monday nights in Rittenhouse are just starting to heat up. A.Bar recently launched a new late night happy hour program featuring intruiging cocktails, wines, and small bites.
The program is designed to highlight creative ways to use seasonal offerings and house-made ingredients. Each week, the bartenders of A.Bar will create two cocktails that showcase a shared house-made ingredient. For example, the first featured ingredient was grapefruit-cardamom syrup. Cocktail One mixed Beefeater, lemon, and Amaro Zucca with the syrup, while Cocktail Two paired the syrup with Old Overholt Rye, lemon, Dubonnet Rouge, and Peychaud’s. Each Monday will also see a new and interesting beer selection and a new wine selection curated by award-winning Sommelier Mariel Wega. Preview the drink menu here.
The small bites menu, prepared by Chef de Cuisine Jon Nodler and his team, is designed to pair with any of the late night beverages. The menu currently features snacks like bar nuts, marinated cheese and olives, grilled shishitos, and smoked trout rillettes. Unlike the constantly rotating drink menu, the food menu will only see seasonal changes. Check out the full food menu here.
The new late night menu is available Mondays from 10 PM to midnight. Be sure to stop by every week to see what the new drink menu brings.
