Popeapalooza begins Friday, September 25 at 11 AM when Morgan’s Pier opens for a weekend full of holy specials and charitable giving. For every customer that walks through the doors, Morgan’s Pier will donate a dollar to one of three charities of the customer’s choice. Customers can choose for their donation to be made to the Francis Fund, a special charity organized in honor of Pope Francis’ to help meet the needs of those in the region struggling with hunger, homelessness, and poverty, Mil Mujeres, an organization that provides legal services in the area of immigration law to low-income survivors of domestic violence and sexual assault, or PennEnvironment, a nonprofit focused on raising awareness of environmental issues within Pennsylvania. If you happen to be feeling particularly charitable, a rubber duck can be added to any drink for a $1 donation. Proceeds from the ducks will be split among all three charities.

But what would a celebration be without beer? Morgan’s Pier will have Cape May Brewing #YOPO, Philadelphia Brewing Holy Wooder, and Yards Cape of Good Hope on tap. If the spirit doesn’t move you to sip on a divine brew, opt for the $3 Yuenglings or $4 Victory FestBiers while you snack on Papal-inspired dishes from the kitchen.
