Jameson Black Barrel and the Movember Foundation Invite You To "Shave the Date"

It’s that time of year again. The hairiest month of the year has crept up on us and it’s time to let that mo grow.

Movember is just days away, and to prepare, Jameson Black Barrel and the Movember Foundation invite you to a Shave the Date party. Grab a shave and a drink while you register to participate in Movember at Milkboy from 7 PM–12 AM on Wednesday, October 28, The Garage from 5–10 PM on Friday, October 30, or Übahn and Brü from 7 PM–12 AM on Tuesday, November 3. The fine folks from Sulimay's Barber Shop will be donating their services for these events to offer you a clean face with which to welcome Movember.

The Movember Foundation works to raise funds and awareness for men's health issues. Since 2003, the foundation has raised over $650 million for prostate and testicular cancer research.

Join the cause this November and sign up to grow your mo in the name of men’s health. If you happen to be of the fairer sex or can’t grow a stache of your own, MOVE! This year, take the MOVE Challenge to get up and get going every day for 30 days. This challenge won’t only help you, but it will help others too.

Each bar hosting a Shave the Date event will feature a Jameson Black Barrel cocktail and $1 from each of the featured drinks will be donated directly to the Movember Foundation. If you can’t make it to a Shave the Date event, don’t fret! Bars all across the city are participating in Movember this year by offering a special Movember cocktail and hosting a variety of events. Check out the list of participating bars below and stay tuned for more details about upcoming Movember events.
