Holiday beers are flowing and visions are sugar plums are dancing through our dreams.
Barren Hill Tavern and Brewery on Germantown Pike are getting festive this weekend with the release of
Gingerbread Jesus and a special
brunch with Mr. and Mrs. Claus.
Friday, December 6, sees the release of Barren Hill’s special holiday seasonal, Gingerbread Jesus. The beer is brewed in collaboration with Father Kirk of St Timothy’s Episcopal Church, who will be on hand to bless the beer at 6:30 PM. A special firkin of the brew, dubbed Gingerbread Jesύs, will also be tapped on Friday. The firkin contains cocoa nibs and smoked ancho chilis straight from Father Kirk’s garden.
In addition to plenty of holiday beer, holiday cheer will also abound in the form of food specials and carols sung by St Timothy’s choir. If you’re looking for even more ways to spread holiday job, bring a new, unwrapped toy to the event and you’ll get a complimentary beer.
If you can’t make it out to Friday’s festivities, stop by on Sunday, December 6, and join Mr. and Mrs. Claus for brunch. Enjoy beers and mimosas while the kids get complimentary pictures with Santa and Mrs. Claus in addition to other fun holiday treats and giveaways. Reservations are recommended for brunch, and guest are again encouraged to bring a new, unwrapped toy for Toys for Tots in exchange for a free Barren Hill brew.
Barren Hill Tavern and Brewery is located at 646 Germantown Pike, Lafayette Hill. Reservations can be made online or by calling 484-344-5438.
